Terms of Service

The service
Gaffer is an online football manager game operated at gaffer.gg and through the Gaffer Android app (a web-based shell). Features, schedules, and game rules may change as we improve the service.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- One person per account. Do not share accounts or sell them.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community guidelines.
Acceptable use
You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, harass other players, post illegal or hateful content, spam lobby chat, upload offensive crest images, or attempt to disrupt the service. Full rules are in our Community guidelines.
Virtual items and progress
In-game currencies, cards, points, and items have no real-world cash value unless we explicitly state otherwise in a promotion. We may adjust balances, reset seasons, or change game economy rules with reasonable notice when possible.
User-generated content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. chat messages, custom crests), but grant Gaffer a license to host, display, and moderate it in connection with the game. We may remove content that violates our guidelines without notice.
Disclaimer
Gaffer is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the game.
Discord
Gaffer is not owned or operated by Discord Inc. Discord and the Discord logo are trademarks of Discord Inc. When you use Sign in with Discord or connect Discord from your profile, you are also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Discord's Privacy Policy.
You may use Discord sign-in only for your own account. Do not automate sign-in, scrape Discord through Gaffer, or use the integration to harass others or violate Discord's rules. Optional in-game perks tied to membership or roles on Gaffer's Discord server are offered at our discretion and may change or end without compensation.
The Gaffer.gg Discord bot may post public game announcements to channels on our server. Those posts are informational only and do not create obligations beyond what is described in these terms and in-game rules.
